About My Husband

Craig is one of the hardest-working men that I know. Ever since we met back in 2009 at church, Craig has always had the drive to provide for his loved ones. As the Wallcoverings Manager at a local retail store, Craig's job can be demanding but he always checks in on how his family is doing and asks if there is anything he needs to do for us. He makes sure that his family is happy, loved, and blessed with the things that they need. Craig will do anything for his family now and adding to our family will only strengthen the love he has for us.

 

He has given many of his days off to come up to my classroom to help myself and my students either for class parties or some elaborate activity. My students and colleagues love having him come up to visit as he always makes them laugh and is so generous to everyone.

 

Our dogs LOVE playing with him and greet him at the door with such enthusiasm. There was a time when Craig and I were fostering puppies for Stray Rescue of St. Louis and one of those puppies was sick one evening. Not wanting the puppy to be alone, Craig slept on the kitchen floor with that puppy. I know that he will take the same care, love, and attention to our children as he has demonstrated to me time and time again that he is an excellent father. 

 

Craig balances me out by being the consistently silly one; he's already good at making those "dad jokes". He loves sports!! That is a huge part of how we met and grew into a couple. We have rival teams and enjoy attending, watching, and playing sports. When our nephews are in town to play hockey we always strive to be there to cheer them on. He would love to teach our future children hockey, golf, and basketball.

But the most important thing about Craig is his testimony in God. Craig dedicated 2 years of his life to serving the people in the area of Baton Rogue, Louisiana for our church. We strive together every day to be the individuals and couple God needs us to be. We so look forward to sharing our testimony with our future children and teaching them to love God as much as we do. I know that Craig will be an amazing example of faith and dedication to God for our future children.
